The mission of Encourage Tomorrow is: We provide quality educational programs that empower students and families to become resilient and to maintain healthy lifestyles.

Our vision statement is: A society where families, the educational system and the community prepare children for successful and healthy lives and embrace a sense of pride in their culture and community.

History
Encourage Tomorrow (EnTo) was founded in 1994 and incorporated in 1997. Originally established to field test specialized curriculum and instructional modalities in gender equity programs, it has grown to become a stable and effective statewide provider of co-curricular educational enrichment programs and parent serves. EnTo programs are provided to low-income families in communities and school districts ranging from San Diego to Sacramento. Our target population is not confined to communities as defined by specific boundaries in a county or municipality. Rather, we are uniquely positioned to provide services to clients by the exclusive access we have to a substantial number of people that are in isolated and underserved micro-pockets (school districts and low/moderate-income housing sites) throughout the state.

EnTo is also a California state certified provider of Supplemental Education Services (SES) under Title ESEA No Child Left Behind programs. Since 2002, five thousand students have been served including fifteen hundred that are currently enrolled in its tutoring and learning enrichment programs. EnTo was also recently awarded a $600,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Education to conduct a comprehensive mentoring project in Urban Fresno.
